PORTRAIT 11 is a group show featuring Sarah Padfield, Dano, Ruby Fox, Stevie Stabbers, Nathan Wyburn, Redvers John, Lucie de Maid, Dave Kenwrick, Glyn Owen, Nikita McBride, and Osian Grifford.
 

It's all about icons and irony in this mixed media show as drawing virtuosity, Old Masters revisited, montage, allegorical intrigue, the documentary eye, surrealism, psychedelia, punk iconoclasm, computer graphics, and pop art with pizzazz all conspire to make us think about the genre of portraiture.  

Popular culture and Pop Art provide the artist’s tacit background as pop icons, celebrities and politicians plus a few friends and local characters provide the point of departure for this modern approach to portraiture beyond the traditional ties to patronage and power.
